Her er Emmy Awards-vinnerne

I det siste episode i siste sesong ble vist av «Breaking Bad» hos AMC, vant serien prisen for beste dramaserie under Emmy Awards.

– Jeg trodde vinneren ville bli House of Cards, eller det kunne blitt Homeland, eller det kunne ha vært Mad Men, eller det kunne ha vært Game of Thrones eller Downton Abbey. Det kunne vært enhver av de, og selv noen andre som ikke var nominerte i denne gyldne perioden i fjernsynet som vi føler oss så stolte over å være en del av, uttalte eksekutivprodusent Vince Gilligan etter at prisen Outstanding Drama Series ble delt ut til Breaking Bad natt til mandag norsk tid.

Serien har bare økt i popularitet de siste årene, takket være mange fornøyde seere som har spredd sin meningb om serien. Breaking Bad har vært nominert til kategorien den endelig vant i tre ganger før, men tapte to ganger for Mad Men og Homeland i 2012.

HBO ble igjen den store seriemesteren, med hele 27 priser totalt inkludert de som ble gitt under Creative Arts Emmys den 15. september, herunder for Boardwalk Empire, Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence In The House Of God, Veep og Game Of Thrones.

Den store HBO-vinneren – med 11 Emmy-priser totalt – ble den glimrende miniserien Behind the Candelabra , hvor Michael Duglas i rollen som Liberace fikk prisen for beste skuespiller i en miniserie eller TV-film.

Netflix fikk tre priser. Den ene gikk til regissør David Fincher for beste regi av pilotepisoden av House of Cards. Og under Creative Arts Emmy, tidligere, vant den også for skuespillerbesetning (casting) og filmfotografi.

Modern Family vant sin fjerde Emmy på rad for beste komedieserie.
