
Vi husker tiden da Walt Disney ga ut mange filmer på Blu-ray og DVD, ja, også VHS i sin tid. Nå kommer kun to nye fysiske videogram i tredje kvartal 2018.
Tidene har så visst forandret seg.
Fysisk video er intet stort satsingsområde lengre for Disney i Norden, som styres av det amerikanske morselskapet.
I hjemlandet USA utgir Disney heldigvis fortsatt mye på fysisk video, både på Blu-ray og 4K.
Selskapet har også en egen Movie Club med egne, eksklusive DVD og Blu-ray-titler.
Men denne er lukket for adresser utenfor USA.
Og som kjent må man ha sonefri Blu-ray-spiller om man importerer amerikanske titler. (Noe mange samlere av film selvsagt har.)
Avengers: Infinity War setter superrekorder på kinoer verden over
Tilbake til perioden juli, august og september 2018.
The Walt Disney Company Nordic har sendt oss oversikten, som ikke har noen konkret lanseringsdato for de to titlene (i skrivende stund).
Men de utgis hhv. medio august og septenber.
Det er da snakk om Avengers: Infinity War, samt boks-sett med de tre Avengers-filmene, i august.
Merk at i USA utgis også de to første på 4K UHD-formatet, men ikke i Norden. Boks-settet kommer som Blu-ray og DVD.
Og Solo: A Star Wars Story i september.
Både Avengers: Infinity War og Solo: A Star Wars Story utgis som 4K UHD, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray Steelbook, Blu-ray og DVD.
Fra USA har vi fått litt informasjon om videogrammene. Merk at alle disse spesifikasjonene ikke nødvendigvis blir identiske på de nordiske utgavene.
